Full Day St. John Land Safari & Trunk Bay Beach Snorkeling Excursion Participants will be departing the Frenchman’s Reef Dock at approx. 9:00 AM and traveling via ferry to Cruz Bay, the main settlement in St. John. Once the participants arrive, they will be escorted to their open-air safari buses, introduced to their driver/tour guide and begin a 2 to 2 1/2 hour tour of the national park system. The participants will have the opportunity to stop and get out to explore the Annaberg Sugar Mill Ruins as well as many other look outs and attractions. After the tour, guests are dropped off at beautiful Trunk Bay where they have approximately three hours at leisure to enjoy the snorkeling trail, the white sand and blue water or just relax under a palm tree. There is some time for shopping at the “Mongoose Junction” shopping area before boarding the ferry and heading back to Frenchman’s Reef, arriving at approx. 4:30 to 5:00 PM.

Half-Day Trunk Bay St. John Beach & Snorkeling Safari Participants will be departing the Frenchman’s Reef Dock and traveling via ferry to Cruz Bay, the main settlement in St. John. Once the participants arrive, they will be escorted to their open-air safari buses, introduced to their driver/tour guide and head for beautiful Trunk Bay where a bountiful BBQ buffet awaits. After lunch, guests may snorkel over the famous underwater snorkel trail. At a predetermined departure time, all guests will return to Frenchman’s Reef via ferry from Cruz Bay, St. John. Imagine walking through a lush tropical rain forest amidst flowers and trees, ponds and a trickling waterfall with butterflies flying overhead and all around you in their own natural paradise. This is a dream come true at The Butterfly Farm where within a large meshed enclosure you can see hundreds of real exotic butterflies flying freely, with dozens of the most spectacular species from all over the world. Some favorites include the Owl butterfly, the friendly Tree Nymph butterfly and the spectacular brilliant Blue Morpho butterfly. You can also witness all stages of their life cycle from tiny egg to curious caterpillar and jewel like pupa. Early in the morning is the best opportunity to see a butterfly emerging from its pupa and watch newborn butterflies take their first flight! If you want to handle the butterflies and caterpillars our guides will be happy to show you how to do so without damaging these fragile creatures.
Visitors are given a complimentary return ticket for the duration of their vacation, so don’t save the best for last!!. Wear bright colors and perfume if you want the butterflies to land on you! Each Farm has a great shop selling a wide selection of butterfly-related gifts and souvenirs. Refreshments are available in the shady cafe outside.

This tour is an excellent way to get an overview of the entire island. Participants will visit the Estate St. Peter Greathouse & Botanical Gardens, the fabulous panoramas found at Drake’s Seat overlooking Magen’s Bay and will stop at Mountain Top for a complimentary banana daiquiri and shopping. When the tour is finished, (approx. 2.5 hours) the group will be taken to Ft. Christian near Emancipation Park in Charlotte Amalie where they will be on their own for shopping in the historic district. A return ticket for the Frenchman’s Reef Shopping Ferry is included for the return to Frenchman’s Reef at leisure.

Blackbeard’s Historic Walking Tour Depart from your hotel for a scenic drive to the Inn at Blackbeard’s Castle; built in 1679 by the legendary pirate Blackbeard as a watchtower above Charlotte Amalie’s picturesque harbor. Add-ons for Coral World The Sea Lion Splash at Coral World Marine Park Imagine a magical meeting with a playful sea lion. This program was created especially for you and the sea lions to share a series of thrilling activities while establishing a unique bond. The four male sea lions at Coral World come from Uruguay, South America, and offer our guests a very special opportunity to get up close and personal with these intelligent yet comical creatures.
Following an orientation, small groups of visitors are invited into a special pool area where you can swim, touch, pet, and play games with our sea lions as they demonstrate their amazing agility. At the end of the encounter, our sea lions will give you a hug, a big wet kiss and the photo op of a lifetime!

Turtle Encounter at Coral World Marine Park Rescued as hatchlings, our green sea turtles were first introduced to water at Coral World. Watch in awe at these magnificent creatures and find out interesting facts about their eating and nesting habits during this encounter. In addition to caring for our own turtles, Coral World also serves as a rehabilitation center for sick or injured turtles. Participants must sign a medical waiver.

The Shark Encounter at Coral World Marine Park No cages, no barriers, just you, a guide, and a dozen of the most awesome sharks found anywhere in the Caribbean! Our Shark Encounter program takes you on a spine-tingling, pulse pounding adventure into the world of the shark. Your adventure begins with a briefing on sharks by a staff biologist including the truths, myths, habits and behaviors of these ancient creatures. After donning your mask, snorkel, and weight belt (for stability) you will climb into the Shark Shallows Pool home to over a dozen juvenile lemon, blacktip, and nurse sharks. Accompanied by your guide you will observe sharks, barracudas, and other marine life from as close as two feet! You will then be led to a demonstration pool where you can touch a baby nurse shark. Participants must be a minimum of 4' 6" tall. This adventure is available daily at 9:00 am, 12:00 pm and 3:00 pm.

Sea Trek at Coral World Marine Park Sea Trek is a sci-tech adventure exclusive to Coral World for those who want to explore the undersea world up close and personal. Trekkers walk along a trail on the floor of the sea, yet it feels like walking on the moon, but with so much more to see. A marine expert guides 10 people at a time around coral beds teeming with life, color and rhythm. Don't be surprised to see schools of yellow tail racing by or curious trumpet fish lingering nearby. Wear your bathing suit and our Sea Trek helmet (which keeps your face and hair dry) will provide all the air, weight and stability you will need. There is a handrail the entire length of the trail and booties and gloves are provided for extra comfort. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity for anyone from eight years old on up, and requires no experience of any kind! Must weigh a minimum of 80 lbs. and be in good health. Participants must sign a medical waiver.

Jeep Driving Tour of St. Thomas Explore St. Thomas off the beaten path. This explorer’s tour has a limited number of participants who can choose to drive or sit back and enjoy the ride. Caravan with your guide in search of lush green mountaintops, tropical beaches and breathtaking overviews. Along the way your guide will point out the fruits, flowers, sights and island history while time is provided for swimming at Magens Bay and Brewers Bay beaches.

Land Tour of Island of Tortola, British Virgin Islands Check in 7:30am at Native Son Ferry Booth in Red Hook and enjoy a scenic ride to West End, Tortola. Your guide will meet you there and then you will explore shoreline on way to breakfast at Road Town. The Island tour includes breakfast, shopping at Road Town, then you ascend to island’s highest point at Sky World, visit a Rum Distillery and Cane Garden Bay Beach for lunch (guests will need to bring cash for lunch), swimming and sunbathing.
