We have a rigorous risk management program including drug testing of all employees as well as a program of quality assurance, which involves the use of guest comment forms and personal interaction with our guests. We maintain the best possible insurance coverage at all times and keep our rental gear in prime condition. Our dive trips depart twice a day for certified as well as non-certified (resort course) divers. The morning dive leaves at 8:30 AM and returns at approx. 12:30 PM. The afternoon dive leaves at 12:30 PM and returns at approx. 4:30 PM. We usually do two dives in the morning and the afternoon, the first of which is a reef dive and the second is a wreck dive. We have several dive sites to choose from around St. Thomas. The instructor on board the boat the day of the dive, evaluates the conditions with the captain and determines the safest and best dive sites to dive. Often we go to Buck Island Wildlife Refuge and dive the wreck of the Cartanzer Senior. Another favorite spot is the Navy Barges, a great wreck dive with lots of intriguing marine life. All of our certified dives are guided with a maximum of 10 divers per instructor and are conducted in water no deeper than 60 feet with little surge or current and great visibility - often over 100 feet! Our resort dives are conducted with a maximum of 4 divers per instructor, in water no deeper than 30 feet. Our dive boat fleet consists of three 45' Corinthian power catamarans US Coast Guard inspected to take up to 49 passengers each.A great deal of our diving activities center around the cruise ships which gives us the luxury of having dive trips go out virtually every day of the week during the peak season (November through April). The Marriott's Frenchman's Reef provides divers year round allowing us to maintain our dive schedules throughout the off-peak season as well. | ||
