AIRPORT TRANSPORTATION
Uniformed staff members will greet your guests just outside the gate on the way to the baggage area with signs identifying your group (either provided by you or computer generated from us). Once guests have checked-in with us and have identified their luggage, they will be escorted to their van(s) and travel directly to Frenchman’s Reef. Transportation will be conducted in air-conditioned vans, unless otherwise specified, with a maximum of 10 guests per van. We will ensure that the vehicles are clean and provide knowledgeable, courteous and friendly drivers and staff to meet and greet your guests at the airport.
The price includes: Meet & greet service Signage Baggage handling for up to two bags per guest/not including luggage truck charges (each additional bag $1.50) Departure notices (the hotel charges a $3 per room fee for delivery or you may distribute yourself at no additional charge) Gratuity
Rates To/From Frenchman’s Reef:
Air Conditioned Vans – 10 passengers max $17.00 each way including gratuity (4 passenger minimum) (The minimum charge will be $68.00, including gratuity, each way) SEDAN –3 PASSENGERS MAX $200.00 for services up to 2 hours LUXURY SUV – 7 PASSENGERS MAX $225.00 for services up to 2 hours LIMOUSINE – 6 PASSENGERS MAX $225.00 for services up to 2 hours LIMOUSINE – 8 PASSENGERS MAX $240.00 for services up to 2 hours LIMOUSINE – 10 PASSENGERS MAX $250.00 for services up to 2 hours FORD EXPEDITION LIMOUSINE – 15 PASSENGERS MAX $300.00 for services up to 2 hours
Luggage Trucks (for use on flights with 30 or more arriving or departing at the same time) $150.00 for service up to 2 hours + $1.70 per bag no shows/last minute cancellations/Extra Wait time $35.00 per half hour or part thereof
48-Hour notice of cancellation is required for refund privileges on all transportation
Other Potential Charges: A minimum of 48 hours notice is required for changes to be made to the arrival or departure manifest, however we will try to accommodate last minute changes. ‘No Show’ transfers (if passengers are not on flight or do not meet their departure taxi) are charged in full.
Luggage trucks for SIMULTANEOUS ARRIVALS : Luggage vehicles will be used when necessary based on flights carrying 30 or more passengers. They are staffed with two to three people to ensure of quick and efficient delivery of the luggage to Frenchman’s Reef.
Important Specifics: We need a complete list of arrivals and departures organized by date, time, flight carrier, flight number, then by last name and first name. This must be received no later than 10 days prior to the first arrival. If we receive your list within 10 days of the first arrival, a $250.00 administrative fee will be applied.
Shop Talk - Duty-Free Shopping Orientations What is Shop Talk? Shop Talk is a pre-scheduled activity for your group. Each talk gives a 30-minute orientation on duty-free shopping on St. Thomas & St. John and is the perfect prelude to a tour that includes shopping or a spouse breakfast.
As part of the Shop Talk, the speaker reviews customs regulations, duty-free limits, exempt items and liquor quotas and outline those items on which they will save the most buying locally. Each attending guest will receive a detailed shopping map of Charlotte Amalie, a canvas shopping bag and money saving coupons and special gifts and promotions (i.e. Blue Topaz, shopping sprees, etc.). Following the map, she directs them where to find the best buys on jewelry, linens, watches, china, crystal, cameras, designer clothing, T-shirts, liquor, tobacco, perfumes and wonderful gifts and local crafts. The Shop Talk is concluded with a Q&A session.
Every store represented by Shop Talk is under contractual obligation to extend a 30-day guarantee on any merchandise purchased by your guests. Not only does Shop Talk direct your guests to those stores where they will get the best buys, but this guarantee will be particularly helpful in relieving their purchasing anxieties and add to their overall shopping experience. (With over 200 jewelry stores in Charlotte Amalie, a shopping excursion can be overwhelming for the unprepared).
We can also add a gemologist presentation which will include a discussion on the various stones, what to look for when purchasing these items. They also bring along pieces of jewelry featuring the stones discussed. Duration: 30 minutes each talk Minimum: none Maximum: none
Group Custom Shopping Ferry Tickets for Shopping and Sightseeing at Leisure in His toric Charlotte Amalie A very unique service, we offer for groups who want to pay for their participants’ ferry tickets, is the Frenchman’s Reef Shopping Ferry. It travels back and forth to the heart of the downtown shopping district on a regular schedule every day. Guests can purchase tickets on their own at the watersports center on the Frenchman’s Reef dock, however many groups choose to pre-print their own custom tickets, distribute them as needed and then we master bill only for those tickets collected throughout your stay. It is a hassle free and scenic ride that takes only a few minutes.
Tour duration: 12-15 minutes Departs: Frenchman’s Reef Dock Minimum: none Maximum: 26 passengers per ferry (per half hour) Rate: Billed on consumption at $6.00 + 10% service charge each way on total tickets collected. Tickets printed by Adventure Center to be billed on consumption at the rate specified above + $50.00 for each 100 tickets printed or portion thereof. |
